Use of Funds Plan: ARP/ESSER
ACADIA Academy
Now Accepting PUBLIC COMMENTS for the
ESEA Title Program Application for 2024
Acadia Academy accepts funding through the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965. As part of ESEA, the school must provide a reasonable opportunity for public comment on the application and consider comments prior to submission of the application.
The estimated funding allocation is:
Title IA - $67,927.00
Title IIA - $18,740.00
The school’s planning team has developed a draft proposal for the use of Title IA and Title IIA funding for the 2023-2024 school year. Throughout the spring, the school personnel and ESEA application team members have gathered and reviewed school-level data to plan for the use of ESEA funds in the upcoming year.
The school will prioritize the following areas:
Title I - Provide extra support to help students with the highest levels of academic need including summer school.
Title II - Provide professional development for teachers in best academic practices, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (known as PBIS), the use of data to inform instruction, and other topics based on individual need and certification requirements.
Please share your thoughts about the application goals and priorities by July 19, 2023 by clicking HERE
We look forward to any input you would like to provide.
